Vienna

ITxPT recently participated in the World Passenger Festival held in Vienna on the 25th of June 2024.

The sessions focusing on ITxPT attracted a large audience. Among these, Laurent Llerena*, our ambassador,  drew a large crowd with over 150 attendees, particularly interested in the presentation on ITxPT’s work in heavy rail, highlighting the growing interest in standardization and interoperability within the public transport field.

The audience engagement was remarkable, with numerous questions following the presentation. This high level of interest emphasized the importance of ITxPT mission and the need for continued industry dialogue and collaboration.

The contributions from the PT authorities and industry’s leading players demonstrate the key role played by ITxPT in advancing technological innovation in public transport, and in the heavy rail sector, in particular. The strong response and successful networking opportunities underscore the importance of ITxPT presence at international forums, paving the way for future advancements, collaborations and increase of ITxPT community towards heavy rail.
