
The ITxPT collaborative community released a new package of the Technical Specifications named Linden.
We are pleased to announce that the ITxPT Linden specification package, previously accessible only to members, is now available to the public through the ITxPT Documentation Centre. This release includes both minor and major updates to the specifications, enhancing readability and usability with new functionalities and clarifications.
The Linden package focuses on updating the current Sequoia package, covering service-oriented architecture (SoA). Available to ITxPT members since December 31, 2024, the broader public can access these specifications upon free registration starting today, April 1, 2025.
Your feedback and comments have been instrumental in improving these specifications. We encourage you to continue using the ITxPT change request platform to share your insights and contribute to future updates.

The collaboration between the members is the heart of ITxPT, and the most central result is the release of new specification versions, delivered in a named package (previously named package Sequoia has been delivered in 2022).
The Linden package focuses on updating the current Sequoia package, covering Service oriented Architecture (SoA). Linden includes minor and major releases of the specifications, read here about the version levels.
Several improvements
The Linden update consists of clarification and introduction of new functionalities that together enhance the readability and usability of the specifications:

- S02P08-MADT:
- Removal of “path” key in DNS-SD announcement
- Removal of the “version” tag from payload
- S03P00-Back-office restructuration
- S03P01-TiGR
- Removal of TX attribute
- Alignment of format for not valid or not available parameter
10 minor releases
- Clarification requirements based on recurring support request
- Fix of issues met during labeling process
- Extension of the scope of application by introducing additional concepts collected by working groups and change requests, such as:
- Heavy rail (S01-Installation)
- JourneyMonitoring extension (S02P06-AVMS)
- Occupancy (S02P07-APC)

Feedback from using the specification
The ITxPT collaborative community generated valuable feedback that resulted in the Linden update. Four main activities created the most input to drive the update:
- The implementation of the previous package (Sequoia)
- The use of the specifications in tenders
- The collected change requests
- The labeling process
