The sessions focusing on ITxPT attracted a large audience. Among these, Laurent Llerena*, our ambassador, drew a large crowd with over 150 attendees, particularly interested in the presentation on ITxPT’s work in heavy rail, highlighting the growing interest in standardization and interoperability within the public transport field.
The audience engagement was remarkable, with numerous questions following the presentation. This high level of interest emphasized the importance of ITxPT mission and the need for continued industry dialogue and collaboration.
*Laurent Llerena is a Senior lead expert, ITS & Connected Services at SNCF Voyageurs with more than 30 years of experience in railway transport. He is involved in international standardization bodies and in European Innovation projects with the aim of promoting interoperability and compatibility of IT systems. He has recently introduced the association ITxPT, enabler for an open and standard IT architecture in public transport, in heavy rail sector and has been appointed Ambassador of ITxPT for his commitment and motivation he provides to the association to improve services to travelers.
