ITxPT Welcomes Three New Members: Host Mobility, SNCB and Solaris

ITxPT is delighted to welcome its three new members to join the Association as Associated Members: Host Mobility, SNCB/NMBS and Solaris are now part of the organisation.

Host Mobility is a high-tech company whose headquarters is in Gothenburg and with years of experience in advanced electronics development and electronics production. Founded in 2001, Host Mobility specializes in the production of cost-effective customized products and systems based on Host Mobility’s quality-assured platforms, primarily for use in vehicle environments. The company handles the entire product cycle from design and development to production and product maintenance, delivering to both large and small companies.

By joining ITxPT, Host Mobility’s aim is to form the basis of its development activities with the MX-4, a product range based on powerful microprocessor with a large number of connectivity options.

SNCB is the national railway company of Belgium. Founded in 1926, its products and services include transport of passengers, maintenance and renovation of rolling stock as well as exploitation of train stations. SNCB/NMBS operates in Belgium and its headquarters are located in Brussels. Its fleet comprises about 2900 vehicles, such as EMU’s, DMU’s, coach cars, electrical locomotives or diesel locomotives.

Solaris is a manufacturer of buses, trolleybuses and trams founded by the Olszewski Family and operating in 32 countries. With more than 20 years of experience, Solaris sold 17,000 vehicles. Its main focus is on electro-mobility development. In September 2018, Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. joined CAF Group, which acquired 100% of the shares of the company.
